--------------------Welcome!

The Lord has blessed our family greatly both through adoption and birth. And because there are so many personalities in our family there is much to think about. This blog is a way to put some of those thoughts down and share our journey.

I hope that my words spur you on, encourage you on a so-so day, and point you to the Lord.

Family Fun

For fun the younger kids had an Easter Egg hunt this afternoon. Nathan seemed to be getting the hang of it. But there was something not quite right in his basket.
Guess all the tennis balls didn't get picked up last fall. He still thought it was a great treasure. :)

Then we attempted a picture of all the kids, since Allison is home from college for the weekend. It seemed like it should be a piece of cake.

Ha ha ha! After this picture with Nathan so busy one of the older kids suggested just photoshopping Nathan into the picture.

Now we'll try inside. Everybody look - oops no, not that time.

You see first you have to get the attention of all of them and then hopefully you can get the littlest on board.

Or the next-to-the -littlest on board.

I think this one works. Yeah!

You are all set free ! (At least for now.)

So exciting to have a new picture. We were doing the same thing yesterday, but it was a little easier for us. I have the pics posted to my facebook page. You'll have to look. I'm glad you were able to have everyone home for the weekend. Seems so strange how it becomes more and more difficult as they get older. Fortunately for us we're not there....yet. :o) Blessings to your family!

In our house, tennis balls are much more valuable than eggs... you can throw them and they don't break! Beautiful pic of the kids : )
