--------------------Welcome!

The Lord has blessed our family greatly both through adoption and birth. And because there are so many personalities in our family there is much to think about. This blog is a way to put some of those thoughts down and share our journey.

I hope that my words spur you on, encourage you on a so-so day, and point you to the Lord.

Antigua

On Tuesday, we passed the day with the Schommer family and guide (Jose) touring Antigua. It was very interesting and great fun. Both of our boys did great as we took it all in.
The fountain in the square in the middle of the town.

The inner parts of the cathedral. This had been destroyed by an earthquake a very long time ago. They are slowly putting some of it back together.

The front of the cathedral. Many of the statues on the outside have been restored.

This next picture will in all likelihood never happen again. After walking around for quite some time we decided to eat lunch. To get to the restaurant we had to hop in the van, Jose suggested that Ken and Nathan (in his stroller) just hop in the back and ride there since it was so short - so they did. It will make a fun memory. :)
A special day with new friends. It was even more fun knowing that our boys were almost home!

My sister just moved to your town. Her husband is the new head football coach. I would LOVE to visit you next time I'm there : )
