--------------------Welcome!

The Lord has blessed our family greatly both through adoption and birth. And because there are so many personalities in our family there is much to think about. This blog is a way to put some of those thoughts down and share our journey.

I hope that my words spur you on, encourage you on a so-so day, and point you to the Lord.

Some Random Thoughts

We (again this week) anticipate receiving our PINK slip. We are trusting the Lord for His timing and are a little more excited with each passing day.

The crib is up and ready, Nathan's clothes are laying in a suitcase. Everything seems more real each day, this is actually going to happen!

We began this journey over a year ago, we have: grieved the loss of Grace, were part of a short term mission team to the children's home, received our referral for Nathan, took a visit trip to meet Nathan, and are now waiting to finish up the process.

Along the way the Lord has taught us many things and continues to teach us today. Each step, even the difficult ones, the Lord has seen us through. We are so thankful that we serve a God that is sovereign over all. We are so thankful that we have faith in a God who adopted us into His family "while we were yet sinners". Please pray that we glorify the Lord as we come nearer to the end of this chapter.

We continue to pray for the families waiting to be released from PGN. May the Lord be your strength and comfort as you wait to bring your precious little ones home.

"You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you." Isaiah 26:3
