--------------------Welcome!

The Lord has blessed our family greatly both through adoption and birth. And because there are so many personalities in our family there is much to think about. This blog is a way to put some of those thoughts down and share our journey.

I hope that my words spur you on, encourage you on a so-so day, and point you to the Lord.

Case Update

We continue to wait for Pre-approval (PA) day #35, on average it is taking about 45 days. We have also had our paperwork submitted for registration with the Central Authority. Following our PA and the "stamp" for registration we are ready to re-enter PGN (final court).

Please be in prayer for our PA to come and for the Central Authority to release the registration okay. We are anxious to be in PGN, that would be somewhat of the homestretch in bringing home Nathan.

We look forward to meeting him in February!

On an exciting note: Ellie is arriving home with her parents later this evening. We are so thankful that the Lord has put together this forever family!

I am so glad you guest posted on Whitney's site last night. Now I know about yours! I am on the Bethany Adoption Prayer team and have been praying for you and Nathan. It will be nice to have this update, as well. I know the time seems to pass slowly, (almost like being pregnant!) but we know that we work under God's timing not ours. He's faithful, that's the good news. Blessings to your family as you await this new little blessing!

Prayed for your papers as we walked back and forth to the Embassy this week...thought it would have been great to go in and get them to speed it up!

I'm so glad to have found your blog!

Your Nathan and my Danny have something in common! In the posed December pictures, Danny is wearing the same outfit as Nathan is wearing in the Christmas pictures.

I'm so glad he has a buddy to share clothes with!

We are both waiting to get certified by CA and into PGN. So I'll pray that both of our boys' paperwork gets where we need to be so we can bring them home!

I'm so thankful to find your blog through Whitney's blog - now I won't be constantly calling you for updates or asking you at church. :)

We're here praying for all of you and Nathan throughout this journey.
